Tour 2018
Amazing! A great team of Singers who really loved the audience, and it showed. The audiences loved them right back, and wanted to know the God who filled them with so much love and confidence and energy. We sang mostly for school
assemblies (three each day in the Philippines, and two most days in Hong Kong) along with many other public venues on the streets, at the Harbor, and in public auditoriums and banquet halls. More than 50,000 enjoyed our programs,
and many followed us from venue to venue. One business man stopped us in a mall to show us a video of our team dancing and singing just a few hours before that a friend had shared with him. So many videos and pictures…from visitors
from all over the world, as well as locals.
Tour 2017
After singing in California for the Marines, we returned to our favorite city in the world, Hong Kong. Each day, we performed for several school assemblies in the mornings. In the afternoons, we performed for public
performing areas in the streets, at the harbor, and for public auditoriums, banquets, shopping malls, and for special programs for church groups. We also continue to help distribute food and other necessities to the poor
elderly people of Hong Kong. We love the people of Hong Kong, and they love us right back. They greet us on the streets and on the subways, telling us how happy they are that we are back in town. As one
older man told us, “When you sing for us, I come alive again!” Note: He had been checking that shopping mall every week all year to see if we had returned. Next, we returned to Northern Thailand to do school
assemblies in Nan province. The schools are glad to have our Singers return because they believe we share positive influences and care about their students enough to interact with them and provide sessions in practical
conversational English. We also enjoy helping in Kathy’s Home, where select Hmong students live during the school year so they can attend proper city schools. These students are loved and taught English and Thai, study,
and computer skills, and many have received college scholarships. We also provided programs for several local Thai churches. In Chiang Mai, we took off a day to shop and ride elephants in the jungle, and ride down a
jungle river on bamboo rafts. We love the people of Thailand! Total audiences, mostly schools, 19,000.
Tour 2016
After singing in California for the Marines and several Los Angeles area churches, we flew to Hong Kong. Each year we are invited to new schools, but mostly we are asked to return to schools where we have been welcomed many
years. They encourage us to talk with the students before and after assemblies, and often we teach classes in conversational English. We do multiple assemblies in the mornings, and perform in public venues in the
afternoons and evenings. Our favorite places are on Ladies’ Street, at the Harbor, in Dragon Centre shopping mall, but we also do many public auditoriums, banquets, camps, and special church retreats or weekend services, and
the American Club July 4th extravaganza. Then we flew to Manila, Illoillo in the Philippines and went by ship to Bacolod City. What an adventure! The schools had never had an American performing group, and they treated
us like rock stars. So friendly, so open to talk and share. The audiences were large (one high school packed in 4+ thousand students and locked out another thousand for lack of room) and were so eager to listen and
respond to the gospel message. They want us back soon. Good trip, with more than 25,000 mostly students in our audiences.
Tour 2015
After singing in California for the Marines, we returned to our favorite city in the world, Hong Kong. Each day, we performed for several school assemblies in the mornings. In the afternoons and evenings we kept very
busy singing for public auditoriums, special programs for church groups, single moms, street people (under the freeway bridges), food distribution for the poor, and singing for street and harbor public performing areas. On
weekends, we sang for churches, always doing some songs in the churches’ own languages (Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, or Thai) and a special July 4th extravaganza for the American Club. In China, we sang for factory audiences
and churches. Wonderfully receptive audiences. And we did take off a day to enjoy Window of the World (Chinese version of our own Epcot Center in the Florida Disney Complex). Since it was very hot, we especially
enjoyed the Northern Countries’ Ice palace, with skating and sledding! Australia in July it is Winter time. Changing from shorts and T shirts, we put on long pants, sweaters and rugby shirts and jackets. As
in Hong Kong, we took time for shopping and sight seeing, especially enjoying ferry rides to famous beaches, Toronga Zoo, and Sydney tower. Mostly we sang for school assemblies, but also had time for youth programs and
churches (including our favorite Arabic church) in the Sydney, Wollongong, and Newcastle regions. One hundred twenty four programs for 37,000 plus students and factory workers.
